Apply OnlineProvide the necessary documentation for your child's enrollment. This includes health records, birth certificate, and previous school records (if applicable).
Once your application is reviewed and accepted, you'll receive an enrollment confirmation. At this time, you'll need to pay the registration fee and first week's/month's tuition to secure your child's spot.
Attend a brief orientation to review policies, procedures, and what to expect. We'll help ensure a smooth transition for your child's first day at Highland Christian Academy.

All tuition fees include breakfast, lunch, and snacks for full-time students.
A 10% discount is available for the oldest child or FBCA Church members (discounts cannot be combined).
If you receive School Readiness or VPK voucher you are not eligible for further discounts.
Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable. A two-week written notice is required for withdrawal.
Tuition is charged weekly regardless of attendance, holidays, or illness.
Fees are based on classroom placement, not strictly age.
Part-time options are only available if space permits.

Covers field trips, special activities, and materials
Tuition is due every Monday for the current week
Accounts past due on Friday at 6pm will incur a $20 late fee
Delinquent accounts may result in disenrollment
Tuition during vacations or illness is still due

Yes, we accept children throughout the year as long as space is available in the appropriate program. We understand that families move or have changing needs throughout the year, and we try to accommodate these situations whenever possible.
Yes, Highland Christian Academy is accredited through the Florida League of Christian Schools (FLOCS) and recognized by The Florida Department of Education Division of Early Learning as a Gold Seal Quality Care Program. These accreditations ensure that we meet and exceed standards for educational excellence and childcare quality.
Our teacher-to-student ratios vary by age group to ensure appropriate supervision and individual attention:
- Infant Program: 1:4
- Toddler Program: 1:6
- Two's Program: 1:8
- Three's Program: 1:10
- VPK/Four's Program: 1:11
- School Age Program: 1:15
These ratios ensure that each child receives the attention and care they need while encouraging social interaction and group learning.
Yes, we provide breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks for all full-time students. Our meals follow USDA guidelines and are prepared fresh daily. We accommodate food allergies and special dietary requirements with proper documentation from a healthcare provider.
Part-time students receive snacks, and those attending during meal times receive those meals as well. A monthly menu is provided to parents so they know what their children will be eating each day.
Highland Christian Academy uses a blend of Christian and developmentally appropriate curricula tailored to each age group. For our preschool programs, we use Abeka and Creative Curriculum. These programs integrate biblical principles with academic learning in language, math, science, social studies, and creative arts.
Our VPK program follows the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards while incorporating Christian values. For our School Age Program, we provide homework support aligned with local school curricula and enrichment activities in various subject areas.
Highland Christian Academy offers limited financial assistance to qualifying families based on need and availability. We also accept School Readiness subsidies through the Early Learning Coalition for eligible families.
Additionally, our VPK program is free for all Florida children who are 4 years old by September 1st of the school year through the Florida VPK voucher program. Please contact our office for more information about financial assistance options.
